There are a few variant skins of characters that I think should be added to the game since they probably won't become a champion in their own right (or at least for a while).

If they were going to do something like this, the best time to have done it would have been in Year One, but in order to do skins now, especially if they don't have their own unique animations attached to it, would probably infuriate the community more than it already is now.
Not to mention it'll probably be a fundamental shift in almost every facet of the game, especially both in terms of resources and economy as well as champion acquisition.
