These types of cristal is a really good idea.
Will they be sold for shards in the future?

    Specific class crystals aren't by any stretch a new thing. I highly doubt they'll ever be sold for shards, best you're going to get are the dual classes. These are crystals that are offered relatively often though for rewards or unit offers.
