What are we expected to do when...(AW)

When the game is lagging due to kabam and not our connection status and we get tons of deaths and non kills in aw? This is arguably the most competitive format since bg is so screwd up with matchmaking. Are we supposed to just not advance or fight if there is a connection problem light? What about when it happens for an entire war? Me and two alliance members finished to fights to completion and still received a loss and half our life taken
