Cant evade heavies or specials

Is anyone else having issues evading heavies when the opponent throws them? I have gotten hit so many times over the last 48 hours where the opponent is about to do a heavy I try to avoid but my champion stays there. I just finished a match trying to avoid nimrod SP2 I avoid the first shock wave and I attempted to swipe back again for the second wave but my champion just stays there. It’s becoming an issue in all game modes as well
