War defender synergies?

Probably a noob question but do synergies work when placing war defenders? I.e
If I place wasp and ghost on defence will ghosts specials be unblockable while phased.

    Sadly, this does not work, but it'll definitely be quite the fun if that was the case, opponent won't know what to expect

    It's pretty much that way already with the inputs, along with AI throwing specials mid heavy animation and...it's not fun.

    Maybe leave this for top 50 AW...the poor battlegroup planners would have to quit work.

    Kabam has removed the synergy benefits from war defender because most of them are unaware of what it does when under pressure doing wars... let’s say someone unnoticed there was a Heimdall placed for synergy.. that might cause a loss or unnecessary damage.. and some synergies are more annoying than this...
    So they had a decision not giving the benefit of any synergy as a war defender.. and I don’t think they will do it even in future
    (As per my guess even relics will not be enabled for war defender)
