How often will new relics be released?

Most of the current relics are pretty mediocre as far as effects and viable champ/combo. Thinking I’m going to start saving shards for hopefully better stuff in the future.
Was just wondering if Kabaam could give some kind of indication as to how often new relics will be introduced. Kind of like saving up for a new featured Crystal I guess
