Classic Spidey evades Venom??!! (bug?)

Monthly EQ, TB dificulty, i think its 1.2 if im not mistaken, its the one whose boss is Spiderman Stealth Suit, there s path with Classic Spidey on the last fight before the boss.
I took Venom for that Boss and i used him in that fight, and he was constantly evading my atacks!! The there anything on his new kit about this after the buff?? I thought Venom shut down all evades from spiderverse champs
