Is it viable to rank 5 6* or should we save for 7* upgrade?

    Absolutely correct. Guys PLEASE don't try to save up your stuff. It will expire or you simply won't advance if you wait that long.

    It depends what champ you want to play with and what champ you actually get vs what is their relevance to the game according to your own priority

    If you can figure it out. Answer is simple

    Upgrade 6* that satisfy below conditions

    1) Your 6* shouldn't be in 7* roster
    2) your 6* should be a counter for at least few champs in 7* roster
