Dex window(?)/Input issue bug in BGS

First fight shown above is a regular practice fight. Shang chi vs Nimrod.

Second fight shown is the same matchup but in BGs.
My device is an Iphone 13 in this clip and ive had consistent dex issues with projectile based specials only in bgs and as you can see here the dexes are the same to the frame or at the very least similar so i dont see why one is a successful dex and the other isnt.
Im open to the idea that im wrong but ive had issues like this for a few weeks now in bgs and its making the gamemode extremely unenjoyable for me.

    You were in the dex animation too 😂 that's rough. I got hit with an oldie but a goodie in arena, used OG Ms Marvel SP1 and I straight up got punched out of it

    Thanks for documenting this. I thought I was crazy because I was missing so many dexes in BGs that I normally make.

    Another example. These arent even cherry picked fights this is literally just the first and second fights i recorded.

    Later in the exact same fight
    Because im unstoppable you can see the issues even more clearly.
