Did Story Quest finish early

The timer in my game had the Sinister Six vault side quest finishing 24 hours before the Story Quest.
But when I logged on this morning, SQ had also finished?
I only had 2 paths left to 100% it, so now missed out on those rewards :(

I know SQ usually starts today, but I was going off the timer,

    Your timer is extended for 24 hours, but only when you’re in a quest. Once you finish the quest if the SQ is over, it’s over and you can’t start a new path.

    So when I was in the quest (before the end) and I saw the timer, it would have included the extra 24 hours, but if I looked at the timer when I was not in the quest, it would have shown the correct time.

    Gawd dammit. I must have looked at the wrong time.
