She’s also bugged to make it even worse. If you throw a sp3 as soon as you finish a combo it registers as a continuation of the combo and doesn’t do any damage.
That's not Mantis being bugged; that SP3 bug has been around for a while
OP's gonna hate me for this; try using mantis for this fight (lol ik). She has that insane sp2 dmg which goes crazy with powershield. Just rush to sp2 and fire it off before that stupid special lock triggers.
Actually all lane fights can be done with Archanel and HT(exception left lane sauron was there, so swithed HT with Nimrod). so i picked shangchi(4th combo should be MLM, nick Once power pausing debuf comes put heavy ,domino her ability reduction is useful.
One more tip: Bring champions with relic advantage so that you can push to sp2 of mantis by doing MLLLM,MLLLM,Relic,MLLLM combo. she wont last if two sp2s were taken.
I destroyed her with sunspot, went to 2 sp1 and didn't let her throw her sp1 and then my sp2 simply did 600k damage the node that increases your sp attack helps sunspot a lot here

Mantis definitely gave me a good beating the first time round. For later rematches, I found Kingpin does that fight the quickest and without item.
Mainly have try to push her to her SP2, but man sometime AI like to have fun and just throw SP1 onto block
