Wiccan taking Korg thorns damage

Faced a Korg boss in AW with Wiccan and the first hit of my SP1 was causing thorns damage. Am I missing something here? Here’s a video of me practicing against my own Korg.
Edit: video isn’t working for some reason 🤦‍♂️

Hmmm. Upon reading both their kits, it kind of seems like he would take damage from the first hit. Can't be sure though because aunt.mai doest specify, but it only says his basic attacks are energy damage.

Reading is fundamental 🤦‍♂️
Completely didn’t notice it said basic.
Edit: BWCV description reads the same but her SP2 deals no thorns damage.

So aunt.mai used to say for every special what type of damage and wether the hits were contact or not, or physical or energy as well. For whatever reason it only lists for sp3s now.

Either way, just judging by the attack animations, I would assume BWCV sp2 is all energy, and Wiccans sp1s first hit looks like a physical hit. Of course I'm only assuming at this point.
