Futur Antman's Deviation

I don't understand futur Antman's deviation.

When I see that of Cerci or that of the other Antman, when the attacks are deflected the opposing skills do not activate. But with Futur Antman, they arem active all the time. We always take damage on us like incineration, bleeding, etc.

Future Antman's deflection works differently than the others?

    Yes it's apart of his main kit and it can be taken off just read his kit

    That's not what I'm asking. I'm asking why this character's deflection doesn't prevent incoming debuffs from applying when he deflects hits. I know that his deviation can be removed by removing his armor by interception. My question is about the application of skills when the deviation is active and not about the possibility or not of removing this deviation.
