Whom to rank and awaken? (I'm usually not this torn)

I've had three champs in the mystic class staring at me for months just begging me to put them in the starting lineup.....I'm semi familiar with all three of them and am having the hardest time trying to pick which one to rank up and awaken. (I have a mystic gem and one of them is getting it. Not worried about pulling a god tier mystic to save for as I have 2 generics......will bring whomever I choose to r3.
DIABLO
CHAVEZ
HOOD
Any input and actual logic as to why would be greatly appreciated and lots of help. I can't remember the last time I was so torn between a few different champs.
Thx

Otherwise, whoever you like playing most
Buffs
Hood provides really good control of buffs.
Diablo provides good control of buffs.
Chavez provides no control of buffs at all, but can invert many, and punishes opponents for having them.
Damage
Hood has slightly unimpressive basic attack damage; but huge burst potential with Hexes. Access to two different DoT (bleed and shock)
Diablo has really good DoT ability with poison
Chavez has really good hard-hitting basic attacks when the opponent has buffs
Useful but Weird Utility
Hood has invisibility and a weak but useful life steal ability*. Encroaching stun effect from his L1 can be useful to gain openings.
Chavez can chain Heavy attacks, and access decent regen on L2.
Diablo can access immunity to stun and armour break
*Life Steal is based on his modified Attack rating, so you'll see it increase in TB quests where he gets Fury effects.
On balance I'd say if you need a 6* champ who can control buffs, or is just really adaptable for many situations, then go with Hood.
If you don't, then I'd say Chavez has a more modern kit that can handle opponents immune to Nullify, Stagger, and Neutralise. Since that seems to be an increasingly common ability, she might be the most future-orientated champion?
Synergies could be another avenue to consider. Diablo pairs nicely with Doom and also has great synergies with Fantastic four and Moleman.
If you use kingpin or ghost a lot, hood is a no brainier IMHO for the synergies. Both hood and diablo have useful utility and solid damage.
I know Chavez is good since her buff but never used her. Just pulled her as a 6 star this week, but gave Hood my mystic gem from side quest and he goes everywhere that Kingpin does. I'd love to expand my roster options, but having to be strategic makes it hard to go with a riskier option unless they are fun to play and/or part of my childhood lore - something she fails on both counts for my own personal choice. Damage is great, but does she handle the pesky champs like hood or diablo?
I advice you to see his gameplay by Munash and r5 Hood showcase by KT1
So I think she needs a high skill cap
And they are both actually better with Recoil Masteries - but Diablo benefits from them in more game changing way (I spam as many specials as I please with Hood and he stays topped up from the Life Steal - remember it scales with damage.. so I find only benefit and zero downside to using him with Recoil)
Chavez...I haven't really played her yet tbh
Wish I had that gem. He's a monster.
You won't regret it
He is fun
Has a gun
Gets invisible and makes opponents miss
Hits fairly well and power steals
Probably one of the best champs in the game. Stun immune, miss, shock, bleed, MD, passive damage, stagger.
Overall, he does much more than both champs.
Diablo is good, but I find he needs suicides and not as much fun to play as hood
Hopefully I pull a 6* of my own soon
