Visual’s are partially gone after update

Hi,

Just noticed that some “beams” are simply not there anymore, eg Aegons sp1 beam or Odins sp1 beam. Anyone else?

Getting the same bugs iPhone 14 Pro Max. Bought this phone specifically to play this game on the best possible device out there, works great. Unfortunately the coding for this game makes the phone useless for it. How can there be so many bug fixes in the patch notes just to be replaced with new ones every single update. When are the devs gonna figure it out that they can’t keep up the pace they’ve set for this game. There is either the lack of personnel to do everything, an inability for the server to keep up, or a complete lack of attention to detail. Honestly it’s probably a combination of all three. A classic quote we were given when 12.0 happened was we need to adapt, Kabam it’s time you adapt and figure this out.

After looking on here and twitter it doesn’t look like it’s down to device specific- it’s genuinely the update. I’m holding off updating as I’m exploring 7.4

If you haven’t updated yet, don’t do it. I haven’t updated and my game is fine

Judging by the state of this thread the issue is not device specific and needs to be adressed as soon as possible

1. sp1 aegon, he shot heaven
2. sp2 king groot
3. sp1 and sp 2 wiccan, in sp2 he shot him self first
4. sp1 silver centurion, he shot himself
5. sp2 domino, the bullet bend itself like the Wanted movies
6. sp1 green goblin
7. annihlus sp
8. upside down pyramid on apoc, illuminati confirm
9. superior kang
10. cgr

almost beam or ranged attack that shot down become upwards, it's like someone mess with your programming

For sure. Tested on a couple different phones, iPhone 8 thru 12 pro. All the same.

It seems to only happen with the defender and it is not all beam attacks.

Apoc Sp1 and Sp2, Cable Sp1, Mordo Sp1, Kingpin Sp2, and Ultron Sp1 all stayed normal.

Aegon and Green Goblin Sp1s are wonky as defenders after the update.

Aegon Sp1 is normal as an attacker.

Playing on iPhone 13 Pro.

How soon? Because it’s borderline fun to mix the laggy BG gameplay with specials that shoot off the screen in a shot-and-chaser kind of way…

What are the odds some of these impacted champs are defenders in the new event and/or side quests launching tomorrow and there are some unblockable nodes involved so just holding block to deal with the VFX issue isn’t an option? Seems like the way these kind of things go.

This seems like an emergency maintenance situation, not a “push a fix next week” situation unless they really can’t have a fix ready before next week.

So, then, close war season right now. Because high tier wars even without bugs are difficult and stressful. There is one week till the end of the season, and you promise to fix this bug only in week. So should we really endure this situation ???
