I voted for Claire, I was ready to imagine myself R2ing a 7* Claire and crushing the battle realm, so believe me when I say I’m upset
But also just think this through, why would Kabam pull the vote just because Claire was winning? If they hated the idea of Claire being a 7* SO much that they were prepared to pull a vote part way through, why put her in the poll in the first place? What does that gain?
Isn’t it far more likely that there was a mix up between departments? A mix up I really hope is learned from and fixed for the future.
I will say that we in the CCP were given a preview of the votes, and I can tell you that Spidey was originally on there, not Claire.
I’ll reiterate, this sucks, it’s a bad look. But we don’t have to make conspiracy theories about them only pulling her because she was winning. Target feedback on what can be fixed, which is communication. Not conspiracy theories.
How is that a mistake, when they even made a whole illustration for it? HOW??
Even art has drafts and final drafts according to requirment changes. Happens everywhere. It's not like the art took months to make. It's just the usual poses that already exist with texture on top
No, it doesn't take months to make, but you don't also splash a random texture and that s it. And it s not texture, the crack lines are hand dropped, you can see from the strategically wrong placement in their faces, like Longshot's "Got Milk" mustache and Diablo's "nosebleed". (Not to mention the background character s different shadowing, the clouds brushing and much more.)
There s all kinds of wrong with the illustration actually, but it took time to make either way.
And? Point still stands. Just because the art work exists doesn't mean it was the end all options. Things can still change

Honestly, I'd be more interested in getting 7* champs designed like in the picture. With the cracks and stuff... give more of an incentive to grind for a Titan crystal.

Just because it wasn't intended... doesn't mean it shouldn't be allowed. At this point in the game, my suggestion would be to re-run the poll, but with all 4 champions, and may the best champion win!
