Am I missing something or would Longshot's awakened ability make him worse?

I just pulled a Longshot and it seems like his awakened ability would make him significantly worse against matchups with lots of buffs like Hulkling or Gorr. Since the cap on Bad luck passives cap at 5, and at max sig Longshot nullifies 60% of all buffs wouldn't that make the damage from his SP2 substantially less when in these buff heavy matchups?

    Not really. You're trading some damage on your sp2 for more control over the fight. If you're fighting someone like Hyperion, the sig is really good since you can now get his power under control faster. And it's not like placing more bad karma on the defender is difficult. It honestly makes him viable in more match-ups
