arena multiplier reversed

in Bugs and Known Issues
when I have a 1x multiplier, I instead get 3x as much points, and when I have a 3x multiplier I get 1x as much points. Is this normal for everyone or is it a bug occuring to some accounts? My account is level 60 but I only realised it today.
