Battlegrounds - End of Season Rank Rewards

With this new medal and matchmaking system, I am up trying to get through Vibranium at the moment (Paragon). This is by far the most I have ever advanced. I figure if I am making this sort of significant leap then other accounts are as well.

Are the number of summoners in GC this season inflated to compared to previous seasons? I assume the rank rewards for the season event will be harder to come by than previous seasons as it’s easier to progress. Or am I wrong on these assumptions?

This new medal thing is defo helpful and makes BG less frustrating . I am digging this change . People in GC would be more this time ofcourse since new change has made it easier to progress , but it wouldn't impact the timings to get the season rewards.

GC season rewards or solo event rank rewards? It could go either way for the solo event, honestly. Easier to progress = fewer matches and lower score to get there. Do more people stop once they get to GC, meaning lower scores than usual or do they keep playing trying to get as high as possible in GC? Time will tell.
