Placeholder 6 star shards missing in beta?

Unless I am blind is it me or are the placeholder shards not in the quests? I have done the first quest 100% and I didn't see a single shard, same when taking a look at 8.3.2.

I had a look in my inventory and I can't seem to see anything there either..
