1* champ nerf

I just noticed they nerfed all 1* champs back to pre buff status. When and why did this happen?

They never got buffed as far as I'm aware...

They were. They were all reverted a few months or so back so that the difficulty of variant x could be maintained

That's what I thought. That sucks. Good thing at this point I have no need of the rewards for any of the variants. Figure I will only do them if I ever get really bored.

I don't think it was to do with the variants, I think it was something to do with making things easier for noobs.

It is kinda disingenuous of Kabam, always has been. You wind up getting past 1* fights and stop using 1* within maybe 8 hours of gameplay on a new account.

Most of us know it is to make one variant quest harder, which is also equally absurd.

I am also pretty shocked at the ammount of players that didn't know that the 1* buff and then nerf even existed. Lol. I mean like I said the only time anyone really uses 1* is in one sub chapter of one quest.
