Obvious Modders in Battlegrounds…

Ran into another modder in bgs today (which by the way feels atrocious when you’re already struggling to climb). Since it’s so close to the end of the season the amount of modders and super apparent cheaters has increased greatly. What can we expect to actually occur to those who are obviously cheating? Is there not a system that can be put in place to detect blatant cheating in bgs?

They recieved hits in both fights (12 in the first, 6 in the second) yet somehow ended with 100% health. In the first fight I suppose willpower *could* be responsible, but there’s nothing that would heal them in the second fight. Unless I’m missing something these results shouldn’t be possible.

Sunspot has easy access to perfect blocks. Just parrying everything means he wouldn't be taking any damage at all.

I also don’t know if any sort of playstyle would allow them to land 91 hits within 47 seconds.

Hits received in the bg stats also count blocked hits. Kingpin has willpower heal from his rage debuffs to heal back any block hit damage and sunspot has perfect block.
    Both matches seem legit .

Oh okay, I was definitely not aware of that. 91 hits still seems very high to me tho for 40 seconds…

The only thing with the sunspot fight is that if their highest combo is 33 then they most definitely got hit directly as opposed to blocking those hits. Their combo would have had to be reset at some point. That fight still seems off to me at least. (unless I’m again missing something about hit counters)

The only explanation I can think of is that it's counting hits for each incinerate. Meaning if he threw an sp1 it'd be counting each hit as 2 hits since he'd be applying 2 incinerates per hit. Doesn't make much sense to me either, but it's just one possibility.

I thought about that as well, except it shows he applied over 100 incinerates just at the end of the fight alone, so the hits would in turn be much higher.

    Legit player. Wrongly accused.
Block hits counts as hits recieved.
Bugged Combo meter of 91 hits.

Just curious, do you know how sun spot works?

Yeah, I have no idea. I just don't think it's enough to call hacks

I think that’s likely the issue, but that just makes me wonder what Kabam is counting as hits within the combo meter.

After 3 years with the character and 7 years with the game I sure hope so. If you would care to look through, we were operating off of the hypothetical that incinerates were being counted as additional hits - which I proved untrue
