Is Fantman good for story content? (Act 7 and beyond?)

I have pulled 6* Fantman since his featured first came out. I'm not the best at the game but I never really used him that often. I heard he was really good for stuff like AW's and BG's, but is he good for other content as well? It would be really appreciated if you could explain your answer. Thanks!

    Of course he is. Extreme sustainability, great damage that’s easy to set up, and probably one of the safest champs to play. When his bug gets fixed he’ll be even better

    Yeah bc hes got massive damage and defensive prowess so he's pretty sustainable and won't take too long in fights suitable for him.

    Currently his glancing isn't reducing ability accuracy, crits or getting damage reduction.
