Rank up Warlock or Human Torch

I only have 1 rank up gem and I’m in a dilemma

What star version, what rank are they both at now and what rank is the gem? I've left torch at R3 and he still slays mystics and anyone with prefight. I do want to rank him, but I took warlock and may others to r4 first because they benefit from it more and because torch is still a nuke in many matchups.

Both are 5* r2 and the gem is a 2–>3 gem

I love warlock but torch is the slightly better rankup.
