Next April fools Kabam just releases a quest with just the pre-nerfed version of him lmaoo
As someone Who did act 6 inmediatly after the third nerf im actually curious of how It was i want to see how It changed (and how hercable It is/was i did it with Doom at the time i i only got herc at 6.4 he was pretty good for grandmaster despite not being duped at the time and im being carried away )the point is that porting? Pre nert act 6 is actually a pretty good idea for a special permanent quest
Sentinel is not hard to beat because you can brute force him if you have hard-hitting champs and some revives and at least 400 units (for revives). On my new mini-account, I used an R2 6* Dragonman and 10 x L1 single revives. Sentinel = dead.

I mean ... The hard part is getting those runes (and not spending those)
Like i was properly schooled by PROS here on my last post on Crossbones - 6.1.5 which i humbly comprehend, and following up on every experienced players comment here, it all buzz down to the SKILL you have acquired and what kind of CHAMPS roaster you have to take on the Act. Also you gotta read what node each of the defender has on the path you want to take to help you prepare your CHAMPS.
Act 6 is still one of the most difficult content after the three nerfs. Even if you play perfect and prevent any hits, the chip damage combined with nodes and length of the quest will cause KOs. Only way around it is to get very good at dexing and intercepting. Both those skills are really tested on act 6 for the first time. In many ways, if you dont muscle through it, you will become better at the game.
That being said, some matchups like Mordo and Captain America IW are still insane and unit sinks. Check guides for those matchups.
It is true that my limitation to defeat the whole act 6 is bad because I relying on the units to help push through. I knew the limitation and the limitation of my collections would take more to defeat the act 6 without units only for the sake of “ get good”. Act 6, in my perspective, is already defeated.
As a working man that works 10 hours a day there was, in my perspective, no way I was gonna try to even bother getting good. The solution was simple and that was to use units to push through it. Units are there to be used.
We all know the issue with the current game has today with parry issues, dexterity not activating and so on and the list is long and sometimes my game crash for not reason at all despite iPhone 13 ProMax, very rarely it happens - but does happens, reasons after reasons is exhausting to give. It is far simple to punch your way through with units. Of course I did my best to play it careful, but eventually my champions would have been knocked out by either parry/block damage or by some master ultra instinct move from the AI.
I don’t know how to explain it more that “get good” is not always the best to comment to someone else when the game is in this state.
For example in battleground I was in Tier Bronze 3 and my Hercules sp3 didn’t activate despite clicking on it. My Black Widow:Dark origins died by 5combo hit despite successfully doing a parry on the AI, but the game wasn’t registering it despite the callout.
I decided to not be bothered with those issues and try to play it careful in act 6 with farming revives and so on with preview map to plan ahead. I am tired after 10 hours shifts and want to get it over with. Units helped me
In a way - act 6 is defeated regardless what people say .
I ran through act 6 on my alt almost itemless recently, I was expecting pain and horror, considering how it was when I did it with r4 5*s way back when, it was a cake walk, it's embarrassing how much it's been nerfed into the ground, don't think I used any revives, but when you're taking 6* r3s in there it's to be expected.
@Charliejiggens is it because of the sheer amount of reading? If so, I understand. 6.1.1 literally has different nodes on every champ. If you like strategizing a lot, then Act 6 is great.
If you just want to play a game and have fun, Act 6 is terrible. The Grandmaster is still the hardest fight in Story mode.

Act 6 is a cakewalk bro But yes, cap iw is pretty much the only hard fight, I had to use a few revives with 5 star aegon but not horrible

Easier than most Paragon level content, but with all 6* rank 2's and 5* rank 5's, there are still a lot of annoying node's that require practice and experience. I did 6.2-6.4 relatively quickly a few months back and was still stuck rerunning paths in 6.2.5 and 6.3.6 for a few days each. It's not nearly the hardest piece of content, but even Act 7 can be easier if you choose the right path. I just started 7.4 and 6.3.6 Cap IW remains the most frustrated I have ever been at a boss in story content.
