Hood's Stagger Not Preventing Unstoppable [Not A Bug]

After playing with my 3* Hood against an awakened Juggernaut and Unstoppable Colossus, The Hood's Stagger will stop Unstoppable from occurring once their special attack animation begins, but Unstoppable continues to come up again once the animation is complete. The Hood's Stagger ability is one of the main reasons why I have gone after him over and over again in crystals and will do so when he comes around in the Basic Arena. Please look into this as The Hood is significantly less valuable if this function remains broken.

Shouldn't stagger stop limbo from activating also? I never understood how it doesn't.

I think Hood's stagger cannot work against Juggernaut's passive Unstoppable ability or in general any passive ability.

Would be great to have a confirmation from experienced players.

I mentioned that it won't stop the Unstoppable triggered from special attacks, so I don't believe that would be considered a passive ability.

@Draco2199 Limbo is not a regular buff, so no, nothing other than ability accuracy (BW, CB, Falcon, Electra, GP) can stop that (to some extent)
@RipVanWinkle Unstoppable is a weird class of buff. It cannot be niether stolen or replicated (Loki/Rogue), so by that logic it should be immune to counterspell/nullify/stagger.

That's true @Lo4eath, Kabam has treated Unstoppable differently than all other buffs in the past. But if that's the case for Stagger, then why does it nullify the buff generated at the start of the animation to begin with? Seems to me that this wouldn't happen if Stagger isn't supposed to be able to get rid of it.

Hey all, they made a change to juggs and uc on the 13.0 update due to a bug which allows them when using a special to be unstoppable twice, first at the start of the animation and then at the end of it. Hood's stagger only nullifies one of the unstoppable buffs. Before 13.0 hoods stagger would completely remove unstoppable. As always kabam realized this and made their unstoppable 2 parts so he could no longer completely negate it. Unstoppable isn't passive that's the reason why sometimes at the start of a fight against juggs SW can get that initial hit in on him while he's unstoppable and nullify it.

Thank you, I thought I remembered Hood's Stagger working like this prior to this update. A Kabam mod really needs to address this.

If you look closely, there are 2 unstoppable buffs when they activate a special. The issue with 5* UC is he wasnt activating his 2nd unstoppable, which had a timer, but instead he only activated the "perma" buff during the animation. Try Juggs/Jane Foster vs Juggs/UC and put 2 staggers on them, see if then you can completely negate it.

Hey everyone. Since one charge of Staggered only negates one charge of a buff, the second buff is unaffected. Because Staggered doesn't stack, you wouldn't be able to negate two consecutive buffs with only one charge.
