Hercules SP2 not connected on intercept

I’ve had two matches today where SP2 doesn’t connect on first hit and either leads to it being blocked or getting lucky enough the last hit only connects. Lost two matches due to this in BG.

    Ok so what’s going on with opponents dashes? I’ve been parried while trying to intercept with AA and parried while just throwing specials period.
