Galan starting fight with harvest active

I was playing some battlegrounds, and my opponent placed galan on defense. I decided to use colossus because I had no counters. But as soon as I started the fight, galan had harvest active with 300 planetary mass. And every time he hit either me or my block, he would gain between 100-200 planetary mass. Am I missing something, or is something genuinely wrong?

He gains planetary mass whenever you get a armor buff that's why

Yeah, if the attacker starts with two or more armour buffs, a defending Galan goes straight into Harvest.

Unfortunately, this only works when he's defending; so if Colossus is defending and you go in with Galan, you won't gain the Planetary Mass at the start of the fight. You will gain fifty mass every time he gets a new armour buff after the start of the fight, though.
