Just thought of a workaround on cashed-in 7* shards - NEGATIVE BALANCE. Works for unit refunders, right? You're welcome, kabam...
Negative 6* shards too Some have kept their 6*s Kabam should have gone scorched earth and should have removed all of their 6&7*s, legitimately gained or not, you exploited something you knew was not intended. Let them keep the progression and gold. Let them keep the 5*s Take away all their 6*s and 7*s so that they have to restart building their account with 5*s which in the current difficulty level of the game would be an extremely long process.
The way Kabam currently handled this will for sure make people be more inclined towards exploiting any future bugs as these "cheaters" faced no consequences and actually gained from the exploit as a whole.
F it, take away their gold too. I am here suffering from gold drought and these people get to float in gold and new shiny champions.
I wouldn't be as angry as I am now if they didn't keep their gold
A lot of people are now unhappy with the Kabam after the fix. But I'm happy with everything, opening this crystals was fun. Plus tried playing a bunch of 6* characters. Had a lot of fun over the weeks. One day ban is a paltry price to pay for that. Plus I got really lucky with 7* pulls and those characters stayed on my account. So a big kudos to the guys at Kabam. And thanks to the community for supporting fellow gamers in this situation
If a bank accidentally transfers a million dollars into your account, do you think they are just going to say "Whoops! We messed up" and let you keep it? It was an error on their part, but they have every right to take that money back.

In some Minds the Bank has to give every customer a Million Dollar.
And of course compensation for the mental stress of this Situation #irony off
@Demonzfyre is super annoying. One of 3 shills I’ve seen here.
I think you’re right. Opening crystals is not “unusual”. I didn’t get or open these crystals.
I think folks that did should get to keep the rewards and send a lesson to Kabaam to stop making such huge mistakes.
Opening crystals is not unusual. But opening 1250 crystals is unusual, especially if all those crystals were obtained at a single point in time.
Clicking 'Open 10 crystals" is not unusual. But clicking "Open 10 crystals" a 125 times is unusual, especially if they are not a Deadpool Infinity crystal.
The whole hiding behind "I didn't know/do anything wrong" is such a bad argument, if you are doing it 125 times.
The truth is that Kabam made a huge mistake and some Players took advantage of the mistake. How Kabam is handling the 'advantage' part of it, that is what is up for debate.
