Battlegrounds

Ever since battlegrounds launched it has been hyped as the future of the game but I am starting to think it will be the only thing in the game.
Since its launch there seems to be much less focus on story content,aw,aq,the buff program, basically anything that previously existed.
New champions released seem heavily geared towards battlegrounds.
Now reworks to acts4/5 to make it faster to become uncollected and eligible for battlegrounds.
Maybe I’m overthinking it ?

It’s true. With the current state of AQ/AW and the rewards being stale, I solemnly do my rank ups based on BGs and BGs alone. Its also the reason why a handful of 7 stars are really sought after despite not having much utility
