Decided to finally start on this month's EQ when I stumbled upon a bit of a surprising interaction. It took me a very long time to figure out what was happening here.

That comes from Longshot ability and the node.
As it is worded in LS’ ability, every time the defender gains power while under the effect of bad karma, LS gains a percentage of this power depending on the number of bad karma.
The node states that every time a power gain effect is triggered, the defender gains a power gain buff.
So LS applies bad karma, gains power from his ability, which triggers a power gain buff from Spider Supreme, which makes LS gain power…. —> loop

Yeah I eventually figured it out, but it destroyed my brain for a few minutes after seeing that almost immediate 99 power gain buffs just from throwing a heavy attack
