No apothecary-like replacement this time?

Today we got yet another incredible announcement from dev team about nerf of consumables drop rates in act 5. Greedy move that a lot of players anticipated since Kabam is consistent with their malicious reputation at this point.
In act 5 there were several farming points, but majority of community is familiar with 5.3.6 - place to farm energy refills. It was used by many to sustain stash of energy refills to use in bg and story content. And Kabam acknowledges it.
Quotes from announcement:
"Without these changes, a number of quests would have been problematic, including one that had the potential to become an infinite energy loop as the quest returns on average more energy in refills than it takes to complete."
"We held off on making these changes so long as these farming quests still required substantial effort to take advantage of."
Okay, so what's the problem in designing new content where people could farm refills in a way that requires effort, yet rewards players with enough resources to satisfy their needs?
When kabam decided to drop hammer on 3.2.6 they immediately followed up with Apothecary - poor substitution for amazing revive farming quest, yet substitution nonetheless.
This time we don't even have any minor announcements for replacement. And i guess i know why. Kabam is not welcoming any FTP players and wants everyone to be in dire need for basic resources at all times, in order to monetize every part of the game.
Only this time result will be in drastic decrease of engagement of active playerbase, who used those farming methods to simply play more of this game and most notably more of battlegrounds.

I mean I get it, but just take some time back in your life.
I have gone FTP, and I usually have over 10 energy refills in my stash. I just use them as they are about to expire.
I 100% uncollected, cav, and thronbreaker EQ every month plus one run through the other difficulties for units.
I still have enough energy to pile on some extra BGs or some random quest I haven't finished yet (looking at you act 6 and variants)
I don't think the game has an energy shortage
Except Kabam for some reason really wants us to think otherwise. Because i guess its not we who should decide how much time we want to spend on this game, right? xDDD
Let's not forget they this is a mobile game ran by a company that really only cares about the bottom line... AKA money.
So yes, FTP tend to get the short end of the stick in these situations. However, the sad reality is that it doesn't really matter to kabam.
If this changes gets a couple people to open up their wallets and buy some energy refills, it was a success. Just like people opening up their wallets for revives in the upcoming Everest content will be a win compared to Kabam not being able to monetize as much with farming tactics.
Not what anyone wants to hear, but it's the truth.
Not Dr zola
Most of the time through out the day while people are busy working, studying or whatever else, the account is just there with a full 70 energy.
By the time players get the chance to jump on and really play the game for a few hours, you only get about 70 energy or so to do all content (including Story Q, EQ, SQ and Battlegrounds, all of which use the same energy).
An Apothecary-like quest is useful as a form of "save" those energy for when players have the time to play.
For example if there were an Apothecary-like quest for energy it could be like this:-
2 paths - 1 Full Refill for Completion and 1 Fully Refill for Exploration. It can cost 70 (or 60) energy to auto fight per path. Reset each day.
So it mean players not really gain any extra energy, but they get the chance to "recycle" the energy and save for when they have time to play.
