Black Panther (Classic) Skill problem

In the character skills information say that intercepting with a super attack 1 & 2 will make every hit a critical hit. However during the gameplay this ability rarely works in battle even when intercepting correctly.

The other skills that activate intercepting the opponent works good, only this skill is the one that isn’t working like should do.

That hurt me to read. But nonetheless that is because what classifies as a special intercept for him isn't the same for herc. He literally has to intercept the dash with the first hit, instead of the backdraft thing that herc does

I was already using black panther in the skill quest so i did some quick tests.
From what i can tell his special intercept window is extremally tiny. I was only able to pull it off properly once and get the entire thing to crit. The opponent had to literally be 1 millimeter outside of my hitbox. But this also raises the question if i just got absurdly lucky and just happened to land all 3 crits or if this is actually a bug which as we all know is super rare in this game

It's been like this since his buff was live, I assume it's so you have to run herc with him for the infuriate to make it reliable

Interesting. I never play black panther so i didnt know about this one. I just happened to be taking him into eq to mix things up

I usually just go for it against the wall and get it 99% of the time. Just lay a MLLL combo into the defender while they're against the wall, dash back, then throw it the second you see the dash animation begin. I threw a few sp2s straight into the block practicing it, but it's pretty much muscle memory after a bit

took me a while to get used to it but his intercept is different than herc u cant just wait for them to dash in and throw it, its more specific, once u get used to the timing ull be fine, u just gotta backdraft intercept with it, risky but pays off
