Yes. One Token, and extra Tiers for Diamond and Vibranium.

Cause of the seeding system next season, also we're getting extra rewards so I don't see this as a bad thing.

true not a "bad" thing but a seriously annoying thing lol

It's to ensure that the low players that get a free ride to Plat don't make it to the GC.

Except that the new change affects some of the tiers before matchmaking becomes more open

And that’s a problem, because many lower skilled Paragons will find themselves stuck at Platinum, before facing open competition, leaving window for many lower accounts to place higher.
Whether the matchmaking should be fully random from Platinum3, or the 2-1 medal system should remain throughout Platinum tiers till matchmaking becomes random.
No one should place lower than weaker competitors because of the VT structure and matchmaking.

We’re getting extras rewards if we make it through. We’re getting shifted or fewer rewards if we don’t.

It seems clear to me that fewer people are playing hard this BG season due to the removal of the juicy milestones after 300,000 in the solo event. This concentrates the player pool closer to the top of the game and weeds out lesser players.

A more competitive pool plus more tiers and more medals within tiers means a FAR lengthier trek to gladiator circuit.

I’m not sure if that sounds good. I’m thronebreaker and have been placed against only paragon with 30 7* and R5 champs that eat mine up in seconds.

I feel they should cut the the points out and first one to win wins. I’m tired of defeating my opponent first to just lose cause they have alil more health then me. Ik they don’t do that in boxing unless it’s a Tie …

And that bring us basically back to first seasons of BGs.
A long, grindy VT that demoralises players, with more than half tiers having the despised 1-1 medal system.
All these threads to change it to 2-1, and here we are back to square one again.
Add up the lower solo/alliance milestone rewards and participation is doomed to drop.
The death spiral will start and Kabam will be forced to change things back, to save the mode sooner, or more likely later.
Of course that will happen with a few seasons delay, because they will wait on their data to “speak”, instead of forecasting and predicting what will logically happen.

There's also the Brawl qualifications going on, which I'm sure some people are at least making an effort towards. That intensifies the competition.
I'm not happy about the increase in Tiers and stretch, but I guess it's necessary according to DNA. I still don't like it.

If you're thronebreaker you shouldn't be able to make it to the gladiators circuit in the first place unless you're MSD

I disagree with that. What about TB/cav with 3M+ accounts (I've faced multiple this season), not to mention the difference between late TB and early paragon isn't too big.

In theory, the higher accounts should be leaving VT making it easier later on for other accounts. Do you know what the truly fair cutoff point is for GC?

Why not? I know a lot of TBs that make GC each and every month, some of them have stacked accounts

    Disagree with that one.

Really was hoping seeding would make the VT less of a grind… but definitely not

Going forward it should be much better than this season. Doesn't change the fact though that the two grindiest seasons are back to back

Unfortunately I think it's only going to be better moving forward for the people who are lucky and determined enough to make it to the GC this Season. Next Season I'd be surprised if many cross that threshold at all because Plat and up will become a gauntlet.

With all the modders and extra annoyance, it is easy to not invest much time in the game mode.
