Question about becoming Paragon mid event

Is there any benefit in becoming Paragon now or say after a week ? As Calender and store won't get updated anyway
I am close to becoming Paragon and could easily become with the help of TB calender, so wouldn't it be better to just hoard my 7 hour crystals for now and wait patiently for calender rewards to become Paragon and then open those crystals?

    SQ store updates, gold/plat track updates, selectors in legendary crystal will give you the paragon option.
