Vertical mode unlocked?

So this happened to me when i was playing the game for a bit and then I turned off my phone for a bit while the game was the last app opened and I come back 5 minutes later and I opened my phone and the game picked up where I left off in what I call portrait mode and if rotate my phone horizontal it would go back to normal but if turn it vertically the game would be messed into this portrait mode in a way idk this just happened to me and I was wondering if this a bug or if anyone else is having this trouble.
