Are 5 stars still relevant ?

I am working towards thronebreaker and was wondering if 5 stars are still worth ranking up at this level or should I focus only on 6 stars

    depends entirely on the five stars you have and what your six star roster looks like

    It depends how far you are and who you have. I did Thronebreaker entirely with 5 stars on my first account.

    My second account that I started last year has many good 6 stars and recently did a run to Cav with a team of 6* r3.

    So the game has shifted a bit over the years. But 5* are still helped in getting to TB and easier to rank up.
