Got an R3. Decent I would say. But primarily used in situational fights like evade based defenders.
I don’t know I would say if you know how to play him he can be r3 worthy. Especially since he primarily relies on special spamming and has his cerebro charges. Plus reverse control immune, falter, unblock-able are decent utility.
Once you master him, Professor X is amazing. There’s a reason BeroMan and MSD love him:
- Ramps up a mutant team massively. - Counters evade, miss and reverse controls. - Non-Contact attacks. - Falter safety net, useful for intercepts. - When cycling special attacks while in mind control the opponent is helpless as they can’t evade, miss, auto-block and are special/power locked.
I run suicides so my rotation is as follows: - 100 mind control, hold heavy for extra prowess and SP3. - Hold heavy and SP2. - Refresh prowess and repeat.
I have a Rank 4 Sig 200 Prof X and his damage is insane. 30-40k opponents are usually killed in one cycle of the above. 60-70k opponents are usually killed at the end of the 2nd SP2, meaning I only take recoil damage once.
If you run suicides it’s also worth having 3 points in coagulate to mitigate bleed damage from double edge.

Just use the mutant boos and cycle Sp2s after 100 charges and first sp3

He’s really great. Obviously boosts mutant teams but he is a great Korg counter and ok defender in battlegrounds. He’s won me a number of matches both on offense and defense. I’m not great at using him but I really like him.
