Did you ever forget to read nodes?

Picture this
I’m pushing to cavalier, currently on 6.1.2

I make my way towards the Sentinel miniboss on the map after an embarrassing amount of attempts to get there.
Used the change node to swap someone on my team.

Then I check it’s nodes and am hit in the face with BIOHAZARD and quit the map

Why do I do this to myself?

Reading nodes gives me cortisol spikes.

I do this all the time in Incursions... I tell myself I need to start reading the nodes... Just to not read the node in the next room

I do the same exact f’ing thing, then I get roadblocked because of it lmao

I read incursions nodes and forget to read the boss xD. I started reading all of them from zone 20

I tend to glance over them to see if there is like a life cycle node etc but I don't read them, I figure that out in the fight. I restart new quests all the time for this reason

based on a lot of posts on these here forums, I'd say lots of people don't read lots of things in the game

I find I do this far too often with Pre-Fight abilities.

Like I recently did a path where any poison or shock placed on the defender was placed back on the attacker. So I'd use Scorpion and changed his power sting to Rupture...

Only to like... just forget a couple fights later to change it and then I'm taking poison to the face and instantly dying.

You'd think that would've been the only time I did it for that path...but it wasn't lol.
