Fan based champion builds/kits. Do they make it to Kabam's design team?

Hey Kabam,
As you know, for the past few years, summoners have created interesting design builds for upcoming or existing champions in the Contest. Often times these threads are created for fun but it got me thinking if they ever make it to the drawing boards whenever you guys are building a new champion. Do you guys ever draw inspiration from these fan builds?
If not, would you guys be open to hosting events where summoners are able to submit their ideas for new champions? Even if it was only for older champions, I think our community can bring some great ideas to the table and it could make us feel like we're part of the journey of buffing old champs.
