Struggling on stupid

Act 6 is not easy at all, so one of the things I’ve been doing to help on my push to Cavalier is reading tips online, like which path to take on each quest.
However it seems like every path I meet him… my worst nemesis…

PUNISHER 2099

Funny enough, Punisher is not the only stupid/bad champion I struggle against.
I frequently do very poorly against Warmachine, Yondu, Punisher, Cable… pretty much any champion with bullet barrage for specials (I’m stupid and try to dex it every time, and even when I don’t, sometimes the damage is just too much even blocking) lmao

Any easy/stupid/bad champs you guys struggle with for absolutely no reason??

    I usually mess up due to reflexes. I’m so used to immediately dodging Sp attacks I do it without thinking sometimes.
    But I hate when the easy sp to dodge is the sp 2 cause I can’t force it as easily as a SP1.
    The bullet hell specials, I usually try to dex at the end, to dodge the last few bullets, but I mess up a lot (the bullet damage isn’t even that big most of the time, but the bleeds destroy my health)

    It’s easier to dodge specials if you’re right the corner. It works for specials with fly time, so when the defender uses the special, make sure you’re veeery far, so when the last hit comes, you’ll be able to dodge it

    Ooh and don't even get me started on that annoying Mordo and power stone Champion....be careful with the last bit

    Pushing them to an SP2 means a change in tactics to NOT bait a special. Try MLLL combos and then hold block.

    Also, regarding Punisher-2099: Do not call this person a stupid/bad champion. He is neither. And if you pull him as a 5*/6*, I'd recommend ranking him up.

    He is genuinely fantastic at limiting the opponents power; and since a lot of the threat from most opponents comes from their Specials, he can bypass an awful lot of stuff. He's surprisingly good even against some tricky cosmic opponents like Galan and Gorr. Nodes like Mixmaster and Typhoon become a non-issue. He's great on Lifecycle because of his Heavy-stun.

    However, to help you fight him, though: some tips -
    • Bait his SP1, as it doesn't hit too hard through block. If you're facing an SP2, block the beams and dodge the missile.
    • Use a champion with two or more buffs, as it'll mean his battery charges a lot slower.
    • Use a champion who procs regeneration buffs a lot (like Wolverine or King Groot) as that'll drain his battery fast.
    • Don't throw your own specials if you don't need to: build to your SP3 in order to trigger Punisher's Sig ability - that will Power Drain you back to an SP2 (which usually hits harder, anyway) and will drain his battery a large amount. Someone like Hyperion or Aarkus will do this really effectively.

    It looks like you are struggling against champions with multi hit specials
    Try using Sorcerer supreme if you have her
