I think it is both reasonable to assume that high end players will recognize effects that they have encountered many many times and also reasonable for players to expect more thorough node descriptions.
The solution to this situation is something that already exists in-game. This node should have the highlighted text on power efficiency that, when clicked, provides a pop out for what that effect is. That way it’s not cluttering up the node description but the information is still readily available for players who don’t already know the answer.
OP came in here with an irritating tone and attitude and so it immediately made people want to take positions against them. I get that. But it’s not unreasonable to want a power efficiency descriptor on this node.
All I asked was "Hey Kabam, why node description is not fully explained?"
I got "LOL LOL you should know already, haha, you don't know about the hidden interaction of this node? Omg omg."
Like wth man, why is a node doing more THAN what's written on it? How is it fair? Players are supposed to double check the war nodes now on auntmai?
Do you also ask why the Caltrops node doesn't explain what bleed debuffs do?
Op may not have asked but Kabam did. Which is why newer nodes specify how much damage over how many seconds. Caltrops has no indication of how much damage it does.
And the comparison is not correct. Power efficiency is in no way as common or part of the game as bleed is
Additionally, they have either changed how Caltrops works (I don't recall it ever being anything other than dash back) to now be both backwards AND forwards dashing or this is another example of their inconsistent use of terms.
I believe that's just how Kate Bishop's Caltrops works, not the Caltrops node
I think so too, but it isn't reasonable to create an ability that has an identical name but different (or additional) effects and expect everyone will know about it.
This is part of the problem with their poor communication of terms and their inconsistency in writing and application. Normally the issue is that there isn't a pop-up to get the information in-game but now we also have to worry that if there is (or even if there isn't I guess) a pop-up but it is for a term we already think we know so we don't bother reading it that it will actually do something different than it does everywhere else.

Do you think Power Efficiency is as common, or even close, to Bleed? Is that truly something you believe?
it's a common node in war since that node is static. It's also in story quests and variants and map 5 of AQ-
That's a node name. Not an effect. And the '%' is greentext. Meaning it could be any value. And you can't assume a value for the given node . Not to mention it has a number (3) which is not something we can directly interpret.
And more to the point, it says the defender also gains a power charge. Does it do the same thing as what Dragon Mans power charge does?

You’re being a complete jerk to this guy. Give him a break. This is why people don’t ask things on the forums, because you and others will mock and grief them having a legitimate concern.
