Mastery information in advance

I, like many others got fairly lucky with mastery cores from the recent Legends crystal event (please bring it back sometime soon!)
I suspect I'm not alone when I say I've been looking at the more advanced masteries with my new found wealth (in cores that is) for example, Double Edge, Recoil, Resonate, which although a veteran player, I've never prioritised unlocking until now.
Before I commit to spending these cores, a certain law says that as soon as I do, you will release some form of new masteries which I could have spent these cores on instead.
I'm not asking for specifics but could you at least give a hint as to whether any new masteries are in development, which would greatly influence my decision, as I won't be able to afford to replace these cores once spent.
I don't feel like we are entitled to the answer, and also I may save the cores anyway, but it would be awesome if just a small hint could be given either way.
