New Changes to the AW Map

I'm not a fan of the map change. In an attempt to alleviate a choke point, I'm afraid that more were created. The multiple portals are going to cause confusion and headache. More options means more problems requiring more communication. I think this mode just became even more difficult to enjoy as a casual player.

If a new map with less choke points was the goal, I'd think 9 paths with 5 fights each and a 5 fight boss island with fewer diverging paths through the map would be the solution.

If this map is here to stay, how will your alliance handle attacking? Will you move as a group to each individual island, forcing you to slow down? Or will you have assigned fights, forcing you to spend more time planning? To me, either option feels bad and worse than what we had before.

We have not played War in over a year (too stressful as per my other post today) and with this week's / month's War Solo Rewards we thought hey let's give it another go. We placed our Champs a day or two ago (no idea we had to place on 3 different maps to run just 1 BG but @World Eater enlightened us). Then bam, none of our champs were placed because the maps changed. Crazy complex maps with gates now, so weird.

Introducing monthly Solo Rewards to get folks interested in War again and then making changes to War at the same time is not generating any love towards War with my Alliance mates. Confusion and frustration though.... nailed it!
