Why are inputs more unreliable in BGs?

I don’t notice this as frequently as I do in this game mode. Is there something different about the BGs instance of the game? Is this just personal frustration from the 1 on 1 mode? Just always seems like BGs performs differently

It’s super problematic when a well timed parry becomes a smash combo to the face against an opponent running ouchies, which is not infrequent.
Really messing me up at times and it did cost me deaths
Just wait till they unveil bg fight recording and playback. Latency for all!
And this right here. Won 100% and disconnect to a loss. Fix the #### game

Block turn into swipe forwards
Block turn into dash back
Medium atk turn into light
Medium attack turn into dash back
Medium attack turn into stand still
Block turn into stand still
5 combo ending on 4th hit leaving you standing there , so mlllm become mlllstandstill
Game stutter mid combo resulting in the only safe option which is to hold block and hope. 50% of the time it works, other 50% you get countered.
Very frustrating
I wonder though - I think the auto play ai is susceptible to these errors. as when these errors occur, the fight looks exactly like how it would do if the auto fight ai was playing….
