Let's close this down before we do this dance again.
There are multiple threads already discussing this, so feel free to contribute to those conversations.
Let's go over some basics that we've discussed before:
It is understandable that Summoners feel discomfort while playing Battlegrounds. Prior to BG (with the exception of AW) - with enough time, energy and commitment - Summoners have been able to win/complete any content. Battlegrounds is our first head-to-head, short form competitive mode, and as a result, 100% of the time 50% of players will lose. Therefore, it's a very different experience from all gamemodes that came before it.
As a competitive game mode, the climb to Gladiator Circuit is a battle to find the best-of-the-best Summoners from the Battlerealm - not from each progression title. Therefore, inevitably, smaller accounts will have to battle it out with larger accounts. Fret not, for an abundance of knowledge and kill can offset the difference between account size (within reason).
Matchmaking is not limited to your progression level or deck size because that makes them highly manipulatable and is counterintuitive to the nature of the game - to find the best competitive Summoners. To climb and be considered among the best, you must beat the best. The rewards in Battlegrounds will not fall into your lap, you need to earn them.
