Alliance enlistment event

So I joined my alliance a little late right and I’m jus shy of 200 tier 2 wtv for ascension and it says I either joined late or did not contribute enough points, will I be able to claim later in the month??

    If the ally reached the milestone before you joined, you won't be able to claim it
