Who to r5 for mutant for general questing AND BG?

I do have a 7* Domino

I run suicides once a month with Herc for incursions - otherwise, sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. Content 100% completed, low tier war.as soon as I get to GC, I don't care about BG anymore for the season.

So who's best for BG and 8.3? I'm leaning Domino, but Apoc might be a beefy defender. (Doom, Herc ascended r5, Bishop r2)

I will say that I like Domino the most for general questing and will be r2 her as a 7* soon, but also don't know if that means I should also r5 her as max sig for BG defense or go with someone else.
