Kabam And Google Play Account Not Linking

When I launch the game, it will automatically sign in to my Google Play account which has no progress. So I will then manually log in to my Kabam account where my game progress is. And once logged in, when I try to link my Google Play account to my Kabam account by clicking "Sign In With Google Play Games" it will have the "Account Already Linked" pop up. And by clicking "Log In", it would log in to the Google Play account, mentioned earlier, which has no progress, instead of linking the Google Play account to my Kabam account. Can you help me link my accounts? Or how does the Kabam and Google Play account linking works?
