5 hit combo into special 1 is not connecting

Hello, while completing all of the Gladiator’s Gauntlet special objectives for Tier 6. I’ve noticed while playing that after doing a 5 hit combo into sp1, the computer controlled champion can automatically attack me, or run away from the special 1 attack. This was happening with my Kingpin and Crossbones characters. It would not occur when I did 4 hit combos or less prior to launching special. I remember a similar bug had been around in the past and was fixed… seems like the little critter is back in season.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

I’m on Apple device when this occurred (iOS 17.0.2)
